Stuff you want: TO GO SKIING!

Well, ok… So maybe the Moretown Artisans’ Sale won’t be the best place to go skiing, but with a forecast like this, it will certainly be a good place to go to on the way to or from skiing… (or instead of skiing, for those who just aren’t into that kind of thing.)

And there are SO many great reasons to stop in to the Moretown Artisans’ Sale!

  • There are 20 vendors with such talent and variety that you’ll find tons of awesome gifts for everyone on your list!
  • There will be awesome live music on Saturday! Christmas Carols have never sounded so good!
  • Santa will be here on Sunday between 12-2!
  • The kiddos can make some holiday crafts of their own in the Kids’ Craft Corner!
  • The SKINNY PANCAKE will be on site to make sure that once you’ve filled up your shopping list, you can fill out your figure!
  • You can drop off your non-perishable donations for the Vermont Foodbank right here with us!

And then, after all that local fun-having and holiday shopping, you can go skiing!

Ski you soon!

Stuff you want: TO BE FULL

The Moretown Artisans’ Sale just got a whole lot better this year with the lower lever addition of the Skinny Pancake!

That’s right! This year, when those hunger pangs in your stomach start to sing Christmas Carols of their own, all you have to do is head down stairs and get yourself something crepe-ilicious. While you’re down there, the kids can head over to the Kids’ Craft Corner to make holiday crafts of their own!

But just because The Skinny will be in Moretown on Dec 11 & 12 doesn’t mean you can’t get your crepe-fix a little sooner. You can head to either of their locations in Burlington or Montpelier and be fully-satisfied by their almost totally locally-sourced menu. My personal favorite is the Deja Vu – apples, sausage, cheddar, maple… mmm… And they’ve just opened an new sister store called the Chubby Muffin which I truly cannot wait to go see!

So come prepared to fill up your shopping bags and your belly, NEXT WEEKEND at the Moretown Artisans’ Sale in Moretown Village!

Stuff you want: FUNCTIONAL GIFTS

You’ve probably been the recipient of one of those totally useless gifts that you didn’t want, don’t have a use for and don’t know how to dispose of. And hopefully you haven’t accidentally given these gifts back to those who gifted them to you  in the first place (because that’s really awkward – just sayin’…) But whether you given or received gifts of this nature, if you shop at the Moretown Artisans’ Sale this year, you are bound to find some awesome gifts that are not only beautiful, locally made and expertly crafted, but they are USEFUL!

In addition functional gifts like  beautiful mugs, hand knit scarves, there will be stunning wooden cutting boards From New Chapter Designs and “Youtensiles” from Flying Turtle Designs that will make excellent gifts for the culinary types on your list. Perhaps you have someone on your list who could use a little more light in there life? Check out the incredible stained glass lamps from Mad Women in the Attic.

There will also be some extreme useful gifts found at the Tiny Tea House booth. Heidi’s famous Dr. Knit Balm is the PERFECT gift for the weekend warriors on your list – you know, the one’s with all the aches and pains after their epic weekends on the slopes… Dr. Knit Balm provides excellent pain relief PLUS it doesn’t make your nose wrinkle when you smell it! Bonus!

So don’t forget to get it together for Dec 11 & 12 (that would be NEXT WEEKEND,) so you can check off your whole holiday shopping list in one stop! SEE YOU SOON!!!!
