BLACK FRIDAY

It’s Black Friday, the official start of the holiday shopping season and now – more than ever – it’s important to keep your shopping local!

Good thing we have so many outstanding local business and art sales to shop at! There are great local art sales taking place this weekend, next weekend, and then of course, the Moretown Artisans’ Sale, December 10 & 11! So you have plenty of opportunities to get all the gifts you need for your friends and families!

And, in case you were starting to wonder, we have JUST updated our Artisans’ page so you can get a preview of what will be available at our sale this year!

Also new this year is our WET PAINT FUND! So many of our Moretown Artists were seriously affected by the Irene Floods that we’ve decided to have a fundraiser for them. We will have an awesome silent auction as well as the coolest flood t-shirts around! 100% of the profits will go to local artists affected by the floods – just one more way you can help your community by doing your holiday shopping!

We will be posting tons more information soon so stay tuned and happy shopping!

…In the Details…

As you probably know, Moretown was hit hard by the floods of Irene. Our normal venue, the Moretown Town Hall is not it the best shape so we are relocating to the Moretown Elementary School – an exciting, but uncharted area for us. We are still ironing out all the details, but rest assured of this: The MAS will take place on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday December 11.

We will also be adding a fundraising aspect to our sale this year to benefit local artists affected by the flood. More details on this will be coming soon, but I can let you in on a little secret: there are some super cool t-shirts that you will want…

More than this, we cannot say just yet, but patience grasshopper! Just as sure as the devil is in the details, good things are worth waiting for! Stay tuned for the latest cliche-free updates by signing up to get our posts emailed right to you! (Over there on the upper-right hand side of the page.)
