1. It’s a great place to support your neighbors and your community – Bottom line when it comes to the holidays – it’s a great time to bring a little cheer to someone’s day. And what better way to do that, than to shop locally. Whether you shop at the Moretown Artisans Sale and support some of the two dozen artists at the show, or whether you shop at locally owned stores throughout the area, remember that the every penny you spend locally this holiday season will go much further to support your community than if you spend it at big box stores!

Once again, the Moretown Artisans Sale will host a raffle and silent auction that will benefit Hannah’s House and their mission to help families of young adults who are, or have been, in emotional crisis find a sustainable path to emotional well being through the exploration of alternative ways of thinking and relating, and to provide tools of prevention for growing families.

Plus our artist have generously donated some incredible artwork so whether you bid on a Silent Auction item or buy a ton of raffle tickets, you’ll not only be supporting a great cause, but you could take home some sweet prizes! Santa’s Coming!

I’ll get straight to the point right on this one for you:

Me and my sis with Santa, back in the day.

Bring the kids and your camera and visit with Santa for FREE at the Moretown Elementary School, Sunday from 12-2. If you’d like, donations are welcome and will go to the Wet Paint Fund, aiding artists affected by the floods.

Let the kids visit with Santa and snap the kind of photos that will be cherished forever by the whole family, like this one of me and my sis from way back in the day. It still cracks me up every time I see it – a true work of art!

And now, in honor of memorable and cherished images of ol’ Saint Nick, I present the Santa Gallery featuring some great iconic images, new, old and off the beaten track of the one and only:
